State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe says that in the future the government will completely withdraw from doing business and will only regulate.
Accordingly, the State Minister stated that the government’s economic policies will primarily depend on the private sector in the future.
The State Minister further stated that the government has achieved significant progress in stabilizing the economy and Sri Lanka is expected to complete its debt restructuring in the last quarter of 2023.
