A senior official of the Ministry of Health said that recruiting retired doctors and specialists will begin next week to remedy the country’s shortage of doctors.
The officer who said that the doctors will be re-hired on a contract basis, also mentioned that special consideration is given to the physical and mental fitness of the doctors while re-hiring.
