Commissioner General Pradeep Saputantri says that due to the shortage of special cards used to process National ID cards, the printed paper will be issued instead of the ID card to the people applying for National ID cards for the first time.The commissioner general said that the printed paper provided in this way is valid for domestic and foreign examinations as well as banking and financial sector activities.He further said that the cards which are currently in short supply will be received around next August.
