The Department of Meteorology says that there may be rain or thundershowers in Central, Uva, Eastern and North Central provinces today (19) in the evening or at night.
The department also mentioned that there may be several rainy seasons in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
