The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thunder may occur in many parts of the island today (10) in the evening or at night. In some places in Uva, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern provinces, mm. The department mentioned that heavy rains above 75 may also occur.
There is a possibility of rain in the morning in the coastal areas of the southern province. The Department of Meteorology urges the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
