The Department of Meteorology says that there may be occasional rain or thundershowers in Western, Sabaragamuwa, South and North-West provinces and Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts today (05).
The department stated that in Uva and Eastern Provinces, and Polonnaruwa and Mullaitivu Districts, scattered rain or thundershowers may occur in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
