There is no need for domestic debt restructuring – Central Bank Governor

Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe says that there is no need to restructure domestic debt.

Accordingly, the central bank governor stated that they realized that they would not get a benefit and their value through the restructuring of the domestic debt while discussing the foreign debt.

Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe mentioned this while attending a conference held in Colombo.
