Steve Hanke, Professor of Applied Economics at Hopkins University, says that the International Monetary Fund has refused to grant loans to Sri Lanka, and it is a very serious situation.

Professor Steve Hanke has pointed out that 16 programs have been given to Sri Lanka by the International Monetary Fund, but none of them have been successful.

In a Twitter message, he points out that he has calculated that Sri Lanka’s inflation has risen to 122%.
