According to the new Delimitation Commission report, the number of members elected in the local government elections has been reduced, says the chairman of that commission, Mahinda Deshapriya.
According to him, the number of new local government representatives appointed is 4,714.
Yesterday morning, the chairman of that commission, Mahinda Deshapriya, handed over the related report to Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
