The Fort Magistrate’s Court ordered today (25) to remand the former registrar of the Fort Magistrate’s Court, who was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department, until November 8.
The Criminal Investigation Department arrested the registrar of the Fort Magistrate’s Court on the night of the 13th last night for preparing a fake document stating that a flight ban imposed by the Fort Magistrate’s Court had been lifted.
The arrest was made according to a complaint made by Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage to the Criminal Investigation Department regarding a case of submitting a letter to the Immigration Controller stating that the Magistrate had issued an order that the flight ban had been lifted.
