Seven young ladies who were separated during the rally on Wednesday night when the security forces sprayed tear gas on the protestors who were getting ready to approach the Parliament complex were found by the Police Special Task Force.
According to STF Commandant DIG Waruna Jayasundara, the Special Task Force located the remaining members of the gang that arrived with the young women and brought them together.
He said that many more protestors had been discovered hiding in trees to avoid being charged during the deployment of tear gas and batons to disintegrate them.
