The arrested leader of Our Janabala Party, Saman Perera has been remanded till August 31.
He was arrested for aiding and abetting the hiding of a suspect who was arrested for the crime of killing a person and injuring two others in Tangalle area on June 5.
After being presented to the Tangalle Magistrate’s Court, he has been ordered to be remanded in custody.
