The All Ceylon Egg Producers Association says that Trade Minister Naleen Fernando has agreed to give an opportunity to sell an egg at a maximum retail price of 50 rupees.
They mentioned this while speaking to the media after a discussion with the Trade Minister.
They further mentioned that the Minister of Trade promised to fix the fixed price in the future and the Minister mentioned that the Consumer Affairs Authority will also be informed in this regard.
