The Cabinet has decided to make provisions for the registration of electric trishaws. According to the relevant cabinet decision, approval was given in the cabinet meeting held on August 8 last year to amend the Motor Vehicle Act by removing the obstacles to the registration of electric trishaws.
According to that approval, the Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Transport and Highways to publish the relevant bill in the Government Gazette and then submit it to Parliament for approval.
