President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that the presidential election will be held next year according to the constitution. The President who said that the parliamentary elections will be held after that, mentioned that the provincial council elections will also be held in early 2025.
The President also requested that the United National Party prepare for all those elections.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe said this while participating in the United National Party’s Special General Conference held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.
