Minister of Urban Development Prasanna Ranatunga has proposed to move the protest site at the Galle Face in Colombo to another location.
Addressing the Parliament today, he said the protest site can be moved to the Viharamaha Devi Park, close to the Opposition Leader’s Office.
Ranatunga said that as the Minister of Urban Development he believes that the agitation site opposite the Presidential Secretariat is not a suitable location.
