Acting Cabinet Spokesman Minister Ramesh Pathirana says that the government is ready to lift the ban on imported goods once the current foreign exchange crisis is resolved.
Accordingly, the current ban is a temporary measure and it will be revised gradually, the minister said.
The minister also mentioned that the import ban has been reviewed and it has been decided to provide import concessions for essential raw materials based on the requirements.
