Minister of Labor and External Affairs Manusha Nanayakkara states that a cabinet paper will be submitted to the Cabinet in the future regarding the issuance of licenses for the importation of electric vehicles to foreign workers.
Accordingly, when migrant workers send money to Sri Lanka legally, they will be allowed to import electric vehicles powered by electricity according to the amount they send, the Minister said.
The Minister made this observation while participating in a program to provide employment opportunities implemented by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
