The Minister of State for Home Affairs Ashoka Priyantha said that plans have been made to issue the digital birth certificate very soon. He also said that this program will be implemented jointly with the Ministry of Technology.
The Minister of State mentioned this while joining the mobile service for issuing certificates to people who do not have birth, death and marriage certificates in the Puttalam district. The program was held at Nattandiya Divisional Secretariat.
