The Netherlands and Denmark have decided to provide ‘F-16‘ type fighter jets to the Ukrainian army to counter Russian military attacks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has expressed his happiness regarding this decision taken by the Netherlands and Denmark and said that it is a historic decision.
Ukraine used to be part of the Soviet Union. The planes belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force were also used during the Soviet period. Accordingly, strengthening the Ukrainian Air Force with F.16 fighters will pose a serious threat to Russia. (Reuters)
