The US Embassy in Sri Lanka says it will provide US $ 6 million in emergency assistance to meet the needs of Sri Lankans at risk from the economic crisis.
The US Embassy in Sri Lanka further stated that the assistance will be provided in accordance with a package from the International Monetary Fund and that technical assistance will be provided to the Government of Sri Lanka through the new fund.
