A low-cost direct flight service (Air Asia) has been started between Thailand and Sri Lanka. Accordingly, starting the first flight, it is stated that a plane arrived from Don Mueang International Airport in Thailand to Katunayake Airport yesterday (09) at around 10.10 pm.
134 passengers and 7 crew members had arrived in Sri Lanka on that flight and 174 passengers were picked up from Katunayake airport and left for Thailand.
There will be 04 flights per week between Thailand and Sri Lanka and these planes will arrive at Katunayake Airport at 10.00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and will depart for Don Mueang Airport in Thailand at 11.00 pm.
