The Colombo Magistrate’s Court ruled yesterday (01) that businessman Dinesh Shafter died due to pressure on his neck and face.
Accordingly, the magistrate ruled that a crime had been committed through this incident and ordered the director of the Criminal Investigation Department to arrest the suspects involved and bring them to court.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs Rajindra Jayasuriya announced this verdict after considering the reports submitted by the five-member expert medical committee during the death investigation.
