The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has issued warrants for the arrest of Lahiru Weerasekera and Tampitiyae Sugathananda Thero, the former convener of the Inter-University Student Union and an activist of the struggle.
It is reported that warrants have been issued due to non-participation in the case when the case was called today (28) in relation to a large number of illegal people.
