Starting today, Litro Gas has announced that it will be supplying 80,000 gas cylinders per day.A spokesman from litro informed us that they have enough gas supply for the next few days and they will be distributing the gas to around the island continuosly.COPE committe informed that they will be focusing ondistributing 60% more gas cylinders to the areas such as Colombo and gampaha where alternate energy resource is hard to find.The COPE committee Chairman mentioned that $120 million, which has been segregated from the Indian credit line for gas, is sufficient for the next 3 months of gas supply.
