Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken this afternoon (13).The Prime Minister explained the current status of the discussions with the International Monetary Fund and expressed his willingness to work closely with Sri Lanka and the United States.The Prime Minister’s Media Unit stated that Anthony Blinken has agreed to support Sri Lanka and to promote investment in Sri Lanka after the conclusion of the International Monetary Fund talks.
