A petition has been submitted to the Court of Appeal against MP Sanath Nishantha regarding the charge of contempt of court.
It is reported that this petition has been filed by a lawyer, Priyalal Sirisena.
Parliamentarian Sanath Nishantha, the Sri Lanka Bar Association and the Attorney General have been named as respondents in the petition.
