The Sri Lanka Junior Athletics squad was unable to fly to Cali, Colombia for the World Athletics Junior Championship as planned because officials were late in giving them their airline tickets.
“The parents and members of the Sri Lanka junior squad stayed overnight in Torrington to protest and call for justice for them. They are looking for answers and the resignations of senior athletic authorities.
