The general manager of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water bill charges will be revised with effect from yesterday (02) midnight. According to this, there will be a 30% to 50% increase in fees for several categories of domestically consumed water units, he further states that this will not affect low-income families.
It is reported that the gazette notice related to the revision of water charges has been sent to the government press.
