During the World Security Conference held in Munich, Germany, a meeting was held between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and American Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
It is also said that this meeting was held between American and Chinese diplomats after the incident of Chinese spy balloons violating American airspace.
Anthony Blinken explained to the Chinese Foreign Minister that it would be an irresponsible act if China did such spying. China has insisted that the balloon is its own, but it is not a military reconnaissance balloon. According to China, the balloon was sent to collect meteorological data. (Reuters)
