US President Joe Biden has announced an additional US $ 20 million donation for food security in Sri Lanka.
The President has stated this at the G7 summit held today, according to the US High Commission in Colombo.
It aims to provide nutrition vouchers to more than 800,000 children in Sri Lanka and food vouchers to more than 27,000 pregnant and lactating women over the next 15 months, and to support a school nutrition program.
