Secretary of the All Ceylon Private Bus Companies Federation Anjana Priyanjith states that it was decided to increase bus fares by 30% during a discussion held with the Minister of Transport today (27).
Accordingly, it has been decided to increase the minimum bus fare from 32 rupees to 40 rupees.
The Secretary of the All Ceylon Private Bus Companies Federation Anjana Priyanjith further stated that this revision of bus fares will be announced on June 30 and will be effective from July 1.
