The police say that 33 suspects were arrested in 31 raids conducted across the island in connection with illegal stockpiling, storage and sale of fuel.
Accordingly, the police said that 1,110 liters of petrol, 1,441 liters of diesel and 9 liters of kerosene have been taken into police custody from these raids.
Also, the police further stated that 10 other people who behaved restlessly in the fuel queues have been arrested in the past few days.
