Toxic smoke from Canada’s wildfires has spread to Norway

The scientists of the Norwegian Climate and Environmental Research Institute say that the toxic smoke rising from the wildfires in Canada has now spread to Norway. Norway is located on the edge of the European continent, 5,850 km from Canada. Meteorologists have shown that the smoke from the wildfires will not only affect the people of Norway but also the people of other European countries.

Currently, New York City in America has become the most polluted city in the world due to the toxic smoke rising from wildfires in Canada. America and New York are below Canada. More than a month has passed since the fires started in Canada. An announcement issued by the Canadian government shows that 150 wildfires that are difficult to control are spreading across several states.

3.8 million hectares in Canada have been completely destroyed by wildfires. Dry weather and winds are causing the spread of the lake fire. More than 20,000 people lost their homes due to the fires. International meteorologists point out that the reason for the spread of wildfires in Canada is the adverse weather conditions.

Meteorologists further explain that climate change is the cause of extreme weather conditions, and climate change is caused by human activities. (Reuters)
