The Department of Meteorology says that some rains may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (25).
The department stated that scattered rain or thundershowers may occur in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
