Today (24th), the Department of Meteorology announces that some rain may occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.
It is also said that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in Uva and Eastern Provinces and Mullaitivu District during evening or night time.
The department has further said that there is mainly rainless weather on the rest of the island.
