The last ship carrying diesel under the Indian loan facility is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (16).
Accordingly, the Prime Minister stated that the distribution of fuel will be carried out giving priority to essential services and that specific stocks of fuel have been obtained by the end of this month.
However, discussions are underway to extend the loan facility thereafter and no specific date for the return of the fuel tanker has been reported.
