The second match of the super six round of the ICC World Cricket Cup qualification tournament in which Sri Lanka will participate will be held today (02). Accordingly, this match is going to be held between the Sri Lankan team and the Zimbabwean team. The match is scheduled to start at 12.30 pm Sri Lanka time.
Meanwhile, due to an injury, Sri Lankan fast bowler Lahiru Kumara has lost the opportunity to play the remaining matches of the 2023 World Cup One Day Cricket Tournament.
The Sri Lankan Cricket Selection Committee has taken steps to replace Lahiru Kumara with Sahan Arachchige for the Sri Lankan squad. It is somewhat surprising because of the replacement of rookie Sahan Arachchige while both Chamika and Wellalage were there.
