The first meeting of the Committee on Public Finance of the Third Chamber of the Ninth Parliament was held today (23) under the chairmanship of Dr. Harsha De Silva.
According to a unanimous decision taken by the Selection Committee in accordance with Standing Order 121, Dr. Harsha De Silva, Member of Parliament, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee.
Accordingly, the Appropriation (Amendment) Bill to amend the Appropriation Act No. 30 of 2021 has been considered in the committee and has been approved.
