Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms, Dr. Wijedasa Rajapaksa is working to draft a new Act on National Security to replace the Prevention of Terrorism Act, says Cabinet Media Spokesperson, Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena.
The Cabinet Media Spokesperson stated that the Prevention of Terrorism Act is an act from 1979, and it is being prepared to introduce it as a new act regarding national security by creating relaxed conditions.
