It has been decided in the cabinet meeting yesterday (06) to maintain the old fee of $50 per person for a 30-day visa when foreigners come to Sri Lanka.
Also, it has been decided to implement the visa service provided free of charge to seven countries namely India, China, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, the Presidential Media Division said.
Also, the Presidential Media Division further stated that the Immigration Department bears the full responsibility of issuing relevant visas when a foreigner enters the country.
