A warrant was issued today (24) for the arrest of Jaffna District MP Ramanathan Archchuna, said Ada Derana reporter.
The warrant was issued after he failed to appear before the Fort Magistrate’s Court in connection with an ongoing case. His sureties were also absent when the case was taken up in court, said Ada Derana reporter.
The case has been filed over an incident involving the alleged obstruction of Fort Police officers while they were performing their duties.
