A fight inside the Prime Minister’s official house in Colombo, Temple Trees, resulted in 10 persons being hurt.
The injured people have been brought to the Colombo National Hospital and have been recognized as protestors.
Ten protestors were hospitalized after a fight between two groups left them hurt. Following treatment, two injured protestors were released from the hospital.
After storming the location on July 9 during the nationwide revolt, anti-government peaceful protesters have been occupying the Temple Trees. On July 9, a large-scale public protest against the president, prime minister, and administration over Sri Lanka’s economic crisis was held in Colombo.
The Presidential Secretariat on the Galle Face Green, the Prime Minister’s official house at Temple Trees in Colombo, and the President’s official residence in Fort were all invaded and occupied by the public.
