In the first 6 months of 2023, the Inland Revenue Department has collected 696,946 million rupees as tax revenue, said the department.
It is stated that the tax revenue collected by the department in the first 6 months of 2022 was 361,832 million rupees.
Accordingly, the Inland Revenue Department further stated that in the first 6 months of this year, the tax revenue has grown by 93% compared to the same period last year.
