Station masters’ Union decides to call off the strike

After a discussion with the Sri Lanka Railway Station Master’s Union and the National Transport Authority, they have decided to suspend the union action for 48 hours.

Yesterday (23), the Station Master’s Union started a 48-hour trade union action from 06.00 pm protesting the way the railway fares have been revised.
