President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is in America, met the President of the World Bank, Mr Ajay Banga.
The President’s Office says that the meeting took place at the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) and there were productive discussions between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the President of the World Bank.
The President also participated in the Conference on Sustainable Development Goals, a high-level political forum on sustainable development held under the auspices of the General Assembly at the United Nations Headquarters.
