Acting Inspector General of Police Deshbandu Tennakoon has decided to resume the Police Public Relief Day which was temporarily suspended.
This was temporarily suspended due to the Covid epidemic and will resume from the 15th.
Public Relief Day will be held every Friday from 9:00 am except for government holidays, says the Police Media Spokesperson’s Office.
The Police Media Spokesman’s Office further states that among the complaints submitted by the public to the police stations and various investigation departments on the island, the complaints that fail to be acted upon will be allowed to be submitted directly to the Acting Inspector General of Police.
