The National People’s Power has issued a statement reacting to the announcement of Police Curfew in Sri Lanka.
In the statement the NPP said that it believes the Election Commission and Police will ensure that the process of counting votes will be conducted accurately.
The party stated that it believes the curfew was imposed solely to maintain public order during the announcement of election results. They also requested security forces to take necessary measures to ensure peace in the country during the post-election period.
