The celebration was inaugurated by Managing Director Mr Abdullah Kassim and Chief Executive Officer Mr Fazleen Majeed, with all staff members present to commemorate this significant milestone.

Sri Lanka faces various sustainability challenges, particularly in terms of waste management and circular economy practices. However, Neptune Recyclers has been at the forefront of addressing these challenges and making a positive impact. According to their corporate profile, the company has recycled over 600,000 metric tons of waste and contributed $160 million towards environmental and human sustainability efforts in Sri Lanka. 

The Managing Director of Neptune Recyclers, Mr Abdullah Kassim, delivered a speech advocating for the circular economy, underscoring the company’s dedication to environmental conservation and community well-being. “Our support for local recycling programs isn’t just about saving the planet; it’s about creating jobs, boosting local economies, and instilling a sense of responsibility,” expressed Mr Kassim during the event. As Neptune Recyclers proudly celebrate 30 years of Recycling, he extended his sincere gratitude to all those involved in propelling the circular economy forward.
