Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) Director Dasun Hagoda says that the activities of providing fuel under the QR fuel permit system will be done today (25) only at a few selected fuel stations.
He further stated that as a pilot project, it is planned to be spread throughout the island in several stages, and based on the responses received, it is hoped to improve the system and open it for use throughout the island in the next few days.
It was previously planned to implement the QR fuel permit system throughout the island from today.
